Astronomy Centre near Todmorden
The Astronomy Centre is high up on the moors of the Southern Pennines, near the border between Yorkshire and Lancashire, the centre also has a camera obscura.
Join their friendly team of astronomers for a tour of the facility and explore the skies with various telescopes, including a huge 30" aperture Dobsonian telescope and 8" refractor. Observing using telescopes is weather permitting, with talks and presentations taking place if the weather is cloudy or the skies are light. Drop-in visitors are welcome to use the central area informally for casual observing, which may be supervised (staff permitting).
Safe solar observation and the *Camera Obscura* are available when the weather allows.
