Camera Obscura & World of Illusions, Edinburgh
The Camera Obscura in Edinburgh is on the sixth floor of the Camera Obscura & World of Illusions venue on Castlehill. It was set up by Maria Theresa Short on Carlton Hill in 1835 where it operated in 1849. It was subsequently moved and reopened by Maria in it's current location at Short's Observatory in 1853.
