Upside Down London - A Camera Obscura at Alexandra Palace
Pinhole London built a pop-up camera obscura at Alexandra Palace. It is open to he public from 1-9 August 2026.
Obscura legacies visited Upside Down London, and met Ben from Pinhole London. Fantastic to see the images of London through the pinhole and then through the camera obscura. LOvely to hear about the community work tyhat Pinhole London will be undertaking with the Camera Obscura over the months months following the public opening.
The project was funded by Arts Council England and evaluated by Breathe Arts Health Research; it seeks to build vital evidence for sensory and arts-based approaches to wellbeing. Pinhole London partnered with disability groups across Haringey as part of a creative health programme.
