The Observatory Tower, Falmouth

The Observatory Tower was built for meterorlogical obsservations in 1868, and was so used until 1885 when a new observatory was erected further west in Falmouth. The current camera obscura was installed in the octagonal tower in 1955 and restored in 2011.
